The Story Behind Somnium London
My Art
My journey into art began in 2020, during the pandemic. At the time, I was working as a freelance actor and, like many in the creative industry, found work had become sparse. To find balance, I would take my sketchbook and watercolours on walks, capturing the architecture, history, and quiet details around me. It was a simple practice that became a source of calm, joy, and self-expression.
In 2023, I was blessed with the opportunity to host my first exhibition: Enlightened Journey. To my amazement, the collection sold out. That moment was not just about selling artwork — it was about realising that something I had created could resonate with others. I still carry that sense of gratitude and humility into everything I make today.
Events & Community
While art gave me a new voice, my heart has always belonged to community and connection. I’ve always loved the worlds of art, film, music, and culture — and the way they bring people together.
In 2024, I began curating community markets to celebrate small traders, makers, creators, and bakers. What started as a passion project has grown into a vibrant, supportive network of incredible talent. Each market is more than just a place to shop it’s a gathering of people who share creativity, stories, and culture.
This is where my heart truly lies: building spaces that bring people together, sharing art and culture in ways that feel alive, inclusive, and inspiring.
